ロウと芯の関係
キャンドルは火を灯すと、芯が周りの溶けたロウを吸い上げて灯り続けます。
キャンドル本体の大きさによって燃え尽きるまでの時間が違いますが、ロウの表面から出ている芯の長さや太さによって炎の大きさが変わり、その結果でも点灯時間が変わります。
芯が細かったり短いと炎は小さく暗くなり、逆では大きく明るくなります。
芯の周りには溶けたロウによってロウだまりができますが、これは芯の太さ（炎の大きさ）によって大きさが変わります。
The relationship between wax and wick
When a candle is lit, the wick draws up the surrounding melted wax, keeping the flame burning.
The burn time depends on the size of the candle, but the length and thickness of the wick above the wax surface affect the size of the flame, which in turn influences how long the candle will burn.
A thin or short wick produces a small, dim flame, while a thicker or longer wick gives a larger, brighter flame. Melted wax pools form around the wick, and the size of these pools also depends on the wick’s thickness and the flame size.
ロウの流れを止める
小さなキャンドルは長く灯し続けていると、いずれロウがふちから流れ出てしまいます（※当店のキャラメルキャンドルも同様です）。
その結果、剥き出しになった芯がどんどん燃やされて、燃料であるロウが余った状態で燃え尽きてしまうのです。
ロウが流れ出さない状態を保てばほとんどのロウを使い切ることができ、点灯時間も最大となります。
ここでは、お家にあるもので簡単にキャンドルを最後まで灯し続ける方法をご紹介します。
Prevents wax from flowing out
If a small candle is burned for a long time, the wax will eventually start to overflow from the edges (this also applies to our caramel candles).
As a result, the exposed wick burns faster, and the wax—the candle’s fuel—can remain unused when the candle burns out.
By keeping the wax from overflowing, you can use almost all of it and maximize burn time. Here, we’ll show an easy way to keep your candle burning until the very end using items you already have at home.

・キャンドルとお皿
・アルミホイル
・はさみ -
①アルミホイルでキャンドルの上部を除いてぴったりと包みます。
②必ず受け皿に乗せてから火を灯します。 -
③ロウのたまりが少なくなってきたら、火を消してロウがしっかり固まるのを待ちます。
④アルミホイルを外側に折り曲げたり、ハサミでカットして使用してください。

method
1. Wrap the candle tightly in aluminum foil, except for the top.
2. Make sure to place it on a saucer before lighting it.
3. When the wax is low, turn off the heat and wait for the wax to harden.
4. Fold the aluminum foil outwards or cut it with scissors before using it again.

ロウが溶けた状態はとても高温になり、直接触れたり手で持つと大変危険です。
ロウが完全に固まった状態で触れてください。
また、アルミホイルを使用しても必ず受け皿を使用してください。
